Hilary studied fine art at Winchester School of Art and in addition holds higher level qualifications in botanical illustration and graphic design. She has exhibited her work in a number of exhibitions and arts and craft shows across the UK and a selection of her botanical artwork has been accepted by the Royal Horticultural Society for exhibition at future RHS shows. Hilary regularly undertakes animal portrait and illustration commissions, and is often signed up for months in advance.

Hilary’s inspiration comes from many sources, particularly from the natural beauty in nature, ‘the art that nature offers us’. She is fascinated by the magic of drawing and likes to experiment with an assortment of drawing mediums including graphite pencil, coloured pencils, charcoal and drawing inks.
